To put Gustav into perspective, I've put together this quick Saffir Simpson scale of Hurricane Categories. It's scary to imagine winds over 155 miles per hour. I only pray for the safety of our friends on the Gulf Coast. It's broken down into category, winds and damge




ONE 74 - 95 MPH MINIMAL

TWO 96 - 110 MPH MODERATE

THREE 111 - 130 MPH MAJOR

FOUR 131 - 155 MPH EXTENSIVE

FIVE >155 MPH CATASROPHIC

This very well could be the 2008 Katrina. We'll all have to wait and see. I haven't been deployed yet, but if I do I will keep this blog updated!
